GIVING INSTRUCTION

 
Hello guys. J have you ever received or read the instructions?
yeah, if we can not do or use something we have to listen to or accept instructions.
Giving instruction is describe how to do something, with the imperative sentence.


Procedures of giving instructions:
            1) Mention the materials you need (if any)
            2) Tell the instructions step by step, clearly. Repeat twice if necessary.
            3) Ask the audience to do as you have told them.
            4) Help them do the instructions if they don’t understand.
            5) Don’t forget to use a gambit.
                        - action in order.
                        - giving compliment
                        - saying thanks/sppreciation.

Example of instructions:

            Very polite commands:
-          Would you walk quickly, please?
-          Can you  close the window, please?
-          Could you make me a cup of coffee, please?

Polite commands:
-          Walk quickly, please!
-          Close the window, please.
-          Make me a cup of coffee, please.

Simple commands:
-          Walk quickly!
-          Close the window!
-          Make me a cup of coffee.

Negative commands:
-          Don’t walk quickly!
-          Don’t close the window!
-          Don’t make me a cup of coffee!

Asking for instructions:
-          What is the firs step?
-          What do you suggest?
-          How do you (do this)?

Giving instructions:

-          firs, (you). . .
-          Then,. . .
-          Next,. . .
-          Lastly,. . .

=) Starting out:
-          Before you begin,(you should). . .
-          The first thing you do this. . .
-          I would start by. . .
-          The best place to begin is. . .


=) Continuing:
-          After that,
-          The next step is to. . .
-          Once you’ve done that, then. . .
-          When you finish that, then. . .

=) Finishing:
-          The last step is . . .
-          The last thing you do is. . .
-          When you’ve completed all the step.
-          In the end.
